For a period of two weeks, Primedia Unlimited’s Fashion Media business had the rare opportunity of branding a main window usually reserved for apparel, to promote the world famous Chanel No 5.
“In addition to having a great visual centre piece for this campaign in Edgars Sandton City, we branded windows nationally across Edgars and Red Square stores. For something a bit different, the Sandton window boasted LED lights that illuminated the bottle and banners within the window,” says Fashion Media’s MD Sean Reed.
“This was a very simple but striking window. For added impact and consumer engagement, a massive Chanel No 5 bottle outside the store sprayed the fragrance onto people when they walked underneath the bottle. This brought a lot of positive interaction from shoppers.”
