TLC Unlimited’s Glamcam, part of the Primedia Unlimited stable was selected by Absolut Vodka to provide interactive photo brand activations for its ‘Transform Today’ global campaign which has hit South Africa.
“Absolut Vodka’s Transform Today campaign implemented deep-play experiences via a concept called the Absolut Black Box, which showcased how different forms of art can creatively transform and change the viewer’s reality,” said Shirley Mabiletja Brand Manager of ABSOLUT VODKA at Pernod Ricard South Africa.
“The campaign targeted young up and coming men and women (LSMs 7+) aged between 21 and 35, and saw Glamcam’s unique technology, image projection and on-site printing engage with consumers in 20 of South Africa’s top nightclubs,” says TLC Unlimited’s Brett Tucker.
Absolut Vodka’s Black Box installations generated awareness around the brand, and also explained to consumers how they could win tickets to the exclusive Absolut Black Box exhibition parties, the first of which took place in Cape Town.
The activations began in Durban and moved along the coast to Cape Town. Up to and including March, they will be revealed inland at nightclubs in Bloemfontein, Johannesburg and Pretoria.
“Glamcam brings campaigns to life and captures the moment in real time, ensuring a fun vibe at any event or function and thus a memorable brand experience,” Tucker concludes.
