MallWorx awarded additional advertising rights

Primedia Unlimited’s middle mall advertising specialists MallWorx has been awarded five new shopping centre advertising rights to add to its already extensive portfolio of malls.

Advertising rights have been awarded for the Blue Haze, Lakeside, Umlazi, Wonderpark and Twin City shopping centres. “These malls offer advertisers a broad mix of shoppers that have disposable income and we’re pleased to have them on board,” says Primall’s Kathija Mahomed.

Blue Haze Mall is a regional centre comprising a leasable area over 64 000m², is the largest mall in Mpumalanga and has an incredible variety of retailers on offer for consumers. Lakeside Mall in Benoni boasts a GLA (Gross Letting Area) of 67 000m2. The centre attracts shoppers from all walks of life with convenient shopping, superb range of merchandise and competitive prices.

The centre also has over 130 tenants which means a wide range of shopping and leisure options for consumers. A key feature of Lakeside Mall is the 160 metre-long riverboat, which has been constructed as part of the main centre.

The Wonderpark centre boasts a foot count of 800 000 people per month, 180 tenants and is the largest shopping centre in South Africa with completely free parking.

“Umlazi Mega City is also affectionately known as Mega City and has an impressive foot count of 794 000,” says Kathija. “It is strategically located at the gateway to Umlazi Township and due to its high visibility and excellent catchment area, the centre attracts cosmopolitan consumers.”

Located in Heidedal in the Free State, Twin City offers shoppers a wide mix of 72 tenants, anchored by Shoprite and Boxer. The mall has free parking and a gross GLA of 24 564m².
