‘Putting your best foot forward’ takes on a new meaning this summer when fashion footwear brand Havaianas teams up with Primedia Unlimited’s mall advertising specialists Primall Media, to announce the brand’s latest offerings.
“The three month campaign for this fun sandal brand has been themed ‘Welcome to Brazilian Territory’ and is as colourful and appealing as its footwear,” says Lee Curtis. Executive Head: Sales & Marketing for Primall Media. “Running from October through to December, Havaianas will be promoting its latest attractions on our mall advertising platforms to shoppers across the country.”
Havaianas is synonymous with Brazil and has always been labelled as one of Brazil’s ‘greatest ever exports’. The brand is famous for their design principles which have also been reflected in the mall advertising.
“Proximity branding plays a definite role in the inclusion of brands in the consideration set,” says Lee. “So the combination of advertising in the mall space where consumers are already in a spending frame of mind, with an affordable and fun footwear brand that is just in time for the summer makes for a winning combination.”
