Samsung has enlisted the assistance of Primedia Unlimited’s shopping mall advertising specialist Primall Media to communicate its latest offering, the curved UHD TV.
Samsung’s revolutionary Curved UHD TV takes consumers into the new world of immersive viewing and makes them feel as though they are right in the middle of the action (http://www.samsung.com/za/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/uhd-tv). Similarly, Primall delivers immersive advertising platforms within malls where the target audience feel like they are part of the advertising campaign.
With the launch of the new curved UHD TV, Samsung planned activations to showcase their latest technology in curved ultra high definition televisions. To bolster their presence in the retail space they have incorporated mall branding into their launch.
“A big part of any Samsung launch strategy is being top-of-mind within the last purchase mile within malls,” says Primall Media’s Lee Curtis, “Samsung has been a client of Primall Media for the past five years and is an earnest believer in the platform.”
Until July, consumers will be able to experience these televisions in the public areas within the malls of Eastgate, Gateway, Cresta, Clearwater Mall, Canal Walk, Menlyn and Sandton City.
“35 million consumers pass through Primall Media malls annually. It is a massive audience that can be communicated to and influenced. In fact 70% of purchasing decisions are made within the shopping environment,” adds Curtis. “It’s understandable why companies are willing to invest in these long term holdings.”
