The Primedia Unlimited owned subsidiary Primedia Lifestyle Marketing Services has won five of the International Council of Shopping Centre’s Solal Marketing Awards which reward excellence in shopping centre marketing campaigns. Of all the accolades distributed, just 13 Gold’s were awarded along with 32 Silver’s from the initial 227 entries from 24 competing countries.
The five awards consist of two gold’s and three silvers and significantly, Primedia Lifestyle Marketing Services is the only marketing consultancy to have walked away with more than one gold award.

These awards epitomise the very best that shopping centre marketing has to offer and its rewarding to see South Africa being recognised for our skills. On the down side though, I had to pay in some extra baggage fees to bring the awards home!”
The company’s Gold awards were in recognition of Primedia Lifestyle Marketing Service’s campaigns for the Gateway Theatre of Shopping’s ‘Material World’ (Vodacom Durban July Fashion Preview) and Cavendish Square’s Lifted campaign. Silver awards were received for the Gateway Theatre of Shopping’s VIP Launch and Hotel Takeover campaigns and for Musgrave Centre’s ‘The Professional Shopper’ campaigns.
All the winning campaigns contained a mix of unique marketing ideas fully integrated with multiple media channels, CRM, digital, design, advertising and sponsorship elements all coordinated and conceptualized by Primedia Lifestyle Marketing Services and its subsidiaries.
