Southern Comfort gets comfortable with TLC

‘You are awesome! So are we. Meet you at the bar?’ is one of the campaign messages behind Southern Comfort’s ‘Whatever’s Comfortable’ washroom advertising campaign with Primedia Unlimited’s TLC business. 

“The purpose of the campaign is to drive awareness and sales of Southern Comfort within the specific points of consumption environments using cleverly branded door wraps and mirror decals,” says Brendon Crowther, Regional Sales Manager for TLC.

“Mirror decals are a great platform that illicit instant consumer engagement because, ‘we are awesome’, we always tend to look at mirrors,” says Brendon. “The creative plays on this fact, displaying campaign messages like ‘You are awesome! So are we. Meet you at the bar?’”

Door wraps have been utilised to communicate the different ways in which Southern Comfort can be enjoyed, namely: on the rocks, with ginger ale or with a “tizer”.

 Advertising venues include nightlife environments like bars and restaurants in and around Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town for a three month campaign duration.
