The Gauteng based X/procure® team recently hosted a refresher training workshop for the staff and management of Pick n Pay pharmacies in Gauteng.
The objective of this intervention was not to spend time dwelling on their daily ordering activities, but rather to combat the issues they experience on the system, whether it be training or hardware related. X/procure®’s Pharmacy Sales Manager, JP Pretorius and Technical Manager, Francois Fourie, were on hand to facilitate the session and answer any questions the Pick n Pay team had.
It’s always great having these sessions with the groups,” said JD Henderson, Managing Director of X/procure®, “because it enables us to understand our customers’ needs better and ensures that we are always on the top end of innovation and deliver products that our customers want and that will make their lives easier.”
During the workshop the support processes and contact points were reiterated as being the Pick n Pay and the X/procure® helpdesks, who are responsible for responding to, and assisting their respective end users.
Sue Jarvis, Manager of the Pharmacy Division at Pick n Pay adds: “The training session held with X/procure® highlighted issues between our software systems that we as Pick n Pay head office were not aware of. The training was highly enlightening and enabled new pharmacists to the group to gain a better understanding of the interlinking systems in Pick n Pay and the expectations we have of X/procure®. I thank you for the time spent with my team and will ensure we do this annually or bi-annually.”
For feedback and service purposes, X/procure® sent out a technician to each store afterwards to ensure that all needs had been met and that the customers were satisfied with the workshops.
