Unlimited’s electronic procurement and advertising specialist X/procure® has achieved top honours in the annual Technology Top 100 Awards (TT100) for the third consecutive year. X/procure® placed first in the Management of People category and was a finalist in the Management of Technology and Management of Innovation categories. This follows the company winning both these awards during the last two years.

Significantly, X/procure® took the lead ahead of 20 other illustrious companies such as Altech Netstar, Fraxion, and Bell Equipment to win the Management of People award. This category recognises top quality organisations that value the critical role people play in enhancing their competitive advantage. The adjudication process probes a number of variables in an attempt to gain insight into how organisations are able to maximise the performance of their employees while creating a harmonious working environment.

Judging criteria included the fact that TT100 organisations are appraised on their value system and organisational climate with the emphasis placed on mentoring and coaching. It also evaluates issues related to staff retention training and development and most importantly, how staff are incentivised and encouraged to become part of the innovation process.

Commenting on the significance of its TT100 win X/procure® MD JD Henderson says; “Our performance at this year’s awards recognises our efforts in talent retention and the management of our talent pool, as well as our endeavours in the development of our staff through training efforts, with a focus on promoting from within.”

“It is a remarkable achievement for us to have featured in three categories, which shows that we are up there with South Africa’s leading companies and that we apply best practice to every aspect of our business.”

“This is another esteemed award that X/procure® will add to its showcase, reinforcing our leadership position in the field of technology. It is a huge privilege to be recognised through the likes of the TT100. We’re delighted with the news and intend on using the energy and pride evoked by the award to allow us to continue exceeding expectations in 2013,” he predicts.
